We would love to have you serve with the student Union team! There’s a place for everyone to get involved.
Wednesday Night Teacher
Present lessons to junior and senior high and combined groups; participate in announcements as requested.
Wednesday Night Small Group Leader
Meet weekly with 3 to 5 students of the same gender and lead discussion by going through a series of questions focused on the large-group lesson; pray with students; provide support and encouragement.
Be present during youth gatherings and pray for students with other prayer partners; pray with students personally when requested.
Assist other leaders and students in preparing and distributing material, such as schedules, curriculum and handouts; make phone calls and send email as requested.
Special Event Helper
Be available “as needed” for special events or gatherings (lock-ins, parties, retreats, etc.), including Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings.
Creative Arts Leader
Work with other leaders and students to create teaching and communication through video, skits, and other arts; create decorations for special services.
Plan, coordinate and lead outreach teams so our students will learn the value of service:
- To their church (such as ushering, clean up, children’s ministry, special events and services)
- To their local community (such as neighborhood clean up or involvement with Feed My Starving Children)
Skills Training Leader
Teach students a valuable skill and help them connect real-world training with ministry. Areas may include personal financial planning, career planning, basic home improvement, music and technology education, labor trades and specialized skills to prepare for adulthood.
