WHAT IS THE WORSHIP MINISTRY?
The worship ministry at South Suburban is committed to a God-exalting, Christ-centered expression of worhsip, primarily through music, in our worship services and all congregational events.
Scriptures command us in both Testaments to sing to God, to devote our lives fully to him, and when gathering together to express our woship to Him through song. Worship is more about 'heart' than 'art'. This means that God takes pleasure in heartfelt worship more than in the style, or even the quality of the vocal and instrumental delivery as we worship. However, we believe He calls us to be excellent in our approach and execution of the music. It honors him to pursue excellence in all aspects of the ministry.
