 Adult Education

WHAT IS ADULT EDUCATION?
SSEFC has a number of opportunities for adults to serve and to be served.  There are several ministries of varying sizes and areas of interest, and anyone is welcome to get involved.

Mission Statement
"We exist to glorify God by helping people grow in the grace, knowledge, and joy of the Lord Jesus Christ, and become more like Him."

Missional Components

  • Glorify God (Our vision, and an outcome of Christlike character)
  • Helping People (Speaking the truth in love to all people)
  • Growth (Always striving toward greater Christian maturity)
  • Grace (By which we were saved,  in which we stand, and the manner in which we minister to  all people)
  • Knowledge (Renewing our minds through the diligent study of Scripture)
  • Joy (The delight of serving God)
  • Christlikeness (The fruit of the Spirit and the goal of learning)

We Value

  • The sufficiency of God’s Word for all things pertaining to life and godliness.
  • The passion for God’s Ministry to which each of us has been called.
  • The contribution of God’s People to the spiritual growth of others.
  • The joy of God’s Unity showing forth in camaraderie as we serve together.
  • The fruit of God’s Spirit displayed as we serve others.
