Partnership Ministry with Solid Rock Church and South Suburban Evangelical Free Church

Everyone is invited as we learn team-building ministry skills.  If you have thought about leadership in the Lord's church and desire more leadership skills, this is the MLT learning track you want to attend.    Overseers, staff, council members, and congregation are all encouraged to attend. 

Ministry Leadership Training (MLT) is a comprehensive, two and a half year training ministry that develops leaders in three specific areas:  1. Biblical Thinking  2.  Christ-like Character  3. Ministry Skills.

PURPOSE
The purpose of Ministry Leadership Training (MLT) is to equip godly men and women to serve in the local church as leaders, mentors, and teachers.  Ministry Leadership Training is an intentional leadership training initiative based upon 2 Timothy 2:2, "The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also."

GUIDING BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES
- The Lord shepherds His church through godly leaders;  Acts 20, 1 Timothy 3:1
- The model for leadership development is Jesus Christ;  Luke 6:12-16
- An important goal for church leaders is the ministry of multiplying godly leaders;  Matthew 28:19, 20; 2 Timothy 2:2
