	WARREN COE — Senior Pastor Raised in San Jose, CA, I graduated from San Jose State University and went on to receive my Masters of Divinity from Trinity University in Chicago. I served at Oakdale Evangelical Free Church in Meriden, IA for over 15 years before being called here to SSEFC in June 2001. 	BRUCE BENTLEY — Youth Pastor Born and raised on a farm in rural Boone County, IA, I learned how to gather eggs, care for pigs, walk beans, and other assorted farm chores. I received my BA from Trinity University in Chicago. I served in the Youth Ministry at First Evangelical Free Church in Boone, IA for 12 years before coming to SSEFC in July 2002. 	PATRICK SMITH — Worship Pastor Raised in the Seattle, WA area, I received my BA in Humanities at Seattle University and went on to receive my Masters in Music (Piano Performance) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I previously served as Worship Pastor at Church by the Side of the Road in Seattle for 13 yrs, as well as studied Greek for eight years. God called my wife Lydia and I to SSEFC in May 2004. 	IAN MACALPINE — Children's Pastor I have served in pastoral ministry since 1983 in Minnesota, California, and South Dakota, and I have been a Children's Pastor for more than two decades. Prior to being called as a pastor, I served as a secular school teacher and principal for eighteen years in North and South America, Africa, and Asia. I hold degrees from Oklahoma State University, Duke University, and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Martha and I recently celebrated forty joyous years of marriage, and we have two sons, Brett and Colin, who live out of state. 	RANDY RUTH — Children's Ministries Coordinator I served as a social worker more than three decades before retiring and have foster parented nearly one hundred children long-term and several hundred children when you include short-term stays. I am a past president of the National Foster Parent Association, and I have been privileged to train foster and adoptive parents around the world. I have degrees from the Baptist College of Tennessee and the University of Minnesota. My wife, Jo Ann, and I have five sons and two grandchildren, and I have attended SSEFC since 1990. 	SANDY DAHLEN — Nursery Coordinator I was born and raised in Minneapolis and have lived in Minnesota nearly all of my life, with brief stays in Thailand and Monterey, California, while my husband was in the Army. I am a graduate of Bemidji State College with a degree in Social Work. My husband Bill and I have two handsome sons, two lovely daughters-in-law, and four of the most wonderful grandchildren in the whole world!
