EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH OF AMERICA (EFCA)
We are affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America. They are an association of some 1,250 autonomous churches united by a mutual commitment to serve our Lord Jesus Christ with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and obedience to the Word of God. We are committed to cooperate with one another in ministry and fellowship as we seek to fulfill the Great Commission which Christ has entrusted to His Church. The growing ministry of the EFCA currently extends to some 42 nations of the world.
The term “Evangelical” refers to our commitment to the proclamation of the Gospel and to the authority of Scriptures as being inerrant in the original autographs and the only safe and sufficient guide to faith and practice.
The term “Free” refers to our form of church government which assures that our local churches are free from a central controlling body. Evangelical Free Churches depend upon the active participation of pastors and lay people in the decisions and directions of the local church.

YOUR INVITATION TO THE EVANGELICAL FREE CHURCH
The Evangelical Free Church of America is more than a denomination - it is an association of autonomous local churches who voluntarily belong to a spiritual movement which we believe is being orchestrated by the Holy Spirit.
We share a common commitment to follow Jesus Christ as the Lord of our lives, our ministries, our families and our churches. He is the head of the Church which is His Body.
We do not desire to build merely a large human organization but instead to be involved in building the eternal Kingdom of God. We enjoy teaming and fellowshipping with Christian brothers and sisters of many backgrounds, cultures and nationalities who embrace the lordship of Jesus Christ; the authority of the Scriptures; the compassion to reach out with the love of Jesus Christ to poor, hurting and lost people; the concern to evangelize and make disciples of Jesus Christ; the desire for holy living; and the commitment to be set free by Christ day by day.
The Evangelical Free Church of America is growing to include a beautiful mosaic of every generation and region of the the United States representing and increasing variety of ethnic, racial, and cultural peoples. Our churches comprise a graphic example of the Biblical principal of diversity with spiritual unity.
If you or your church do not belong to a denomination or association of churches, we invite you to explore the possibility of joining with us in the ministry fellowship of the Evangelical Free Church of America.
