What Student Union is All About

Minimize

For Parents:

We see ministry to students as a partnership with families.  Together we can create the best environment for our teens to grow in their knowledge and love of Christ.  Please email Bruce with whatever questions or comments you have and check back here often for news of special events and opportunities for you to get involved in.

If you would like to know more about what is going on with our student ministry this year, you can pick up a copy of our Ministry Intro. at church or download a copy of it here.

Our Mission

"Embracing the way of Jesus"

We encourage students and adults alike to discover who Jesus Christ is - how he lived, what he taught, and how his death and resurrection changes everything. We believe the best place to do this is within a community of believers truly loving God and each other. As we live this way, we become one, which is exactly what Jesus prayed for (John 17:20-21).

Sunday morning and Wednesday nights

Our Sunday morning teaching time for junior and senior high takes place during the first service at 9:00 am.  We meet in the Journey Room near the Gym.  The Senior High are going through a series in their class that helps them understand what The Gospel really is and how they can learn to share their faith.  The Jr. High is going through B.R.I.C.K. materials (Building Righteousness in Christ's Kids).

During the school year, both junior high and senior high meet Wednesday nights from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Both groups meet for fellowship and worship time, then they alternate having small groups and large group. While junior high has small group, senior high will meet for large group, and vice-versa. To find out what is happening this week, go to our Winter Calendar and check it out!

Staff leaders

Our volunteer leaders, or student ministry staff, represent a mix of parents and singles who have a passion for ministry and a commitment to be present on a regular basis. If you would like to know more about the process of becoming a staff leader, you can email Bruce.
